The legendary House of PICCHIOTTI has hailed from Italy for over fifty years. Founder Giuseppe Picchiotti started the family business with his sister in 1967 in the esteemed jewelry hub of Valenza. Maria Carola, Giuseppe’s daughter, directs marketing and communications. As digital communications are the path of the future, MariaCarola has recently launched an all-new website at www.picchiotti.it for the esteemed heritage brand, including a B2B business portal for communication and file sharing with retail partners. In addition, she has launched a new luxury blog entitled Sincerely, Giuseppe for regularly scheduled messaging with PICCHIOTTI fans worldwide.
Her brother Filippo is actively involved in stone-buying. The House of PICCHIOTTI has always been known for color – intense red rubies, vivid blue sapphires, deep green emeralds. But even color has a new generation at PICCHIOTTI. Inspired by gem lover Filippo Picchiotti, the brand recently debuted new jewelry styles with semiprecious gemstones. Not just any semiprecious gems – only the truly remarkable and superlative gems found by Filippo and his father on their global travels.
Umberto, the youngest son and sibling, trained at the bench as a goldsmith and now takes full responsibility for quality control and product development. He is at the helm of the renowned Xpandable™ Collection second generation, X², the newest evolution of Xpandables that offer a total new look with the usual comfort and ease.
A new generation of Picchiottis is now steering the brand in creative and innovative directions that remain true to the brand’s core heritage and DNA.
